WHO WE ARE

Engineers Without Borders USA (EWB-USA) is a non-profit international development organization whose mission is to partner with developing communities to implement sustainable engineering projects in order to improve qualities of living across the globe.

The University of South Florida chapter (EWB-USF) is comprised of professionals and students alike who strive to be internationally responsible and active in carrying out the mission of  EWB-USA.

The student members of Engineers without Borders at USF envision a world where all people have access to adequate sanitation, safe drinking water, and the resources to meet other self-identified engineering and economic development needs. We strive to empower engineering students with the idea that they can make a difference in the world using the tools that they have gained in the classroom.

WHAT WE DO

Empowering communities through engineering solutions.

Here at EWB-USF, the students strive to empower the communities of their respective host projects by collaborating with them on simple engineering solutions that will help in aiding their needs. EWB-USF provides communities with partnership, general discussion, and support in order to ensure that communities are able to have the access to basic human necessities such as clean water and private latrines.
